Airport bus service
The most convenient way to get to Palermo city is to use the bus service Prestia & Comandè. The price is around 6 euros.
Train station
Palermo Central Station is located 10 minutes walk from DorMimmo. You can book your train on Trenitalia.
Taxi share from the airport
Exiting the airport on the right, you can find shared taxis. The taxi follows the same route as the Prestia & Comandè bus and costs around 8 euros per person. Buses to get around Sicily
There are several companies that offer buses to get around Sicily. They usually depart from Palermo Central Station (next to the train station). Among the major companies are https://www.saisautolinee.it/, https://www.interbus.it/ and https://www.autoservizisalemi.it/(connections also with the rest of Italy).
City bus tickets
For Palermo's urban public transport, we recommend downloading the MooneyGo (myCicero) app. With this app you can easily purchase bus tickets directly from your smartphone and validate them when boarding. It's the most convenient and fastest way to get around the city.
Free Parking
Just a 2-minute walk from the house, there is a free parking area open 24/7. The parking is located just outside the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone), allowing you to park your car at no extra cost and easily reach the house on foot.
